The main character is the witch Prim, who has been tasked with defeating baddies and freeing up all the other good witches. You get plenty of power-ups to play with.

The graphics are fun and bright and I don't mind the music. Instructions are a little lacking, but after a few hours' play you can work out all the little tricks. I find this much more fun than Gummy Drop, which became so ridiculously difficult to defeat some levels that I deleted it.

Most of the levels are Limited Moves but there are also Timed levels, and the goal is to swap tiles to make matches of at least 3 identical elements. Large matches or combos will give you bonuses on the board such as a bomb, directional arrows that destroy elements in a particular direction, or a Crystal ball which destroys elements of a single chosen element.

Each level introduces new features such as blocked tiles and other obstructions to overcome. There are 26 different Achievements to earn I'm sure more will be added in due time but you must go to the Achievement section and click the Achievement you earned to claim the reward. You are given quests or goals to complete so that you can make your way through magic land and free all of the caged witches who have been kidnapped.

There are bosses to battle just before you come across a witch, and you need to collect spellbooks and magical charms during the Match 3 games to defeat them. You start out with 3 lives, and as you progress, you will find treasure chests that contain rewards of coins, bonuses and other goodies that help you beat the levels.

You earn coins for each level you win, which can be used in the shop to purchase bonus boosts, extra lives and other various packages. Some of those items require real money, others can be purchased with the coins you earn if you are patient enough. If you run out of resources, you can replay any of the levels two more times, each time you replay a level, it becomes more difficult, but the rewards are higher each time.

When you complete all 3 rounds of a level, you will gain VIP status and earn a Jade ticket which can be used for a chance to purchase valuable assets that can only be purchased with these tickets.

Like most F2P games, there is a lottery wheel you can spin for more goodies but you can only spin the wheel at specific intervals. Free to Play games are very addictive, which is why they are so successful, because most players don't want to wait for extra lives or to earn coins and bonuses.

This is really fun! I've just played to finishing the first boss and opening a portal to a new level and I'm already loving it. The plus sides for me: Fresh bright colours - I'm a migrainey fishy so I have a few eyeball issues - the images are clear and sharp which is excellent.

The exciting fairground flashes when you win stuff may be a caution for epilepsy sufferers and for fellow migraineurs. I'm playing on a large-ish lap top, can imagine it'd seem more contained on a tablet.
